Aaron Cornelius (he/him)

Aaron is an independent producer who is passionate about ambitious, immersive and irreverent theatre that breaks down the boundaries between the artist and the audience. Producing credits include Slanted Theatre: Lady Precious Stream (Producer, 2022), Ponydog

Productions: TattleTales (Producer, 2021–Ongoing), Whimsical Productions: The Things I

Could Never Tell Steven (Associate Producer, 2019), Verge Festival: The Blue Bird (Creative

Producer, 2017), Adelaide Fringe Festival: Daniel Cullen’s Musical of Thrones (Assistant

Producer, 2017) and Jetpack Theatre Collective/kXT: Rhinoceros (Producer, 2016).

He was also Production Manager for New Theatre’s Stupid Fucking Bird (dir. Warwick

Doddrell), which won the 2018 Sydney Theatre Award for Best Independent Production.

While studying at the University of Sydney, he produced the 2017 Science Revue and

interactive murder mystery J’Accuse (2016).

Aaron graduated from The University of Sydney in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts (Music) &

Bachelor of Science (Psychology), and is currently the Marketing, Engagement & Admin

Coordinator for CDP Theatre Producers, one of Australia’s most prolific theatre companies developing and nationally touring new works for young audiences.
